Sebastian Faulks has stepped into the spotlight to answer your questions on his bestselling novel and Big Read shortlisted title Birdsong.

Birdsong is Sebastian Faulks's fourth novel. He worked as a journalist for 14 years before taking up writing books full time in 1991. He lives with his wife and their three children in London.
