By putting one of our authors on the 'Hotspot' we hope to give you and your reading group the chance to have all those burning questions you might have, answered by the authors themselves - we can't imagine a more direct way of uncovering an author's motivations and intentions!

Karin Slaughter, author of Kisscut and Blindsighted is our current 'hotspot' author; she has stepped into the spotlight to answer your questions.

Karin grew up in a small South Georgia town and has been writing since she was a child. A commercial signmaker by trade, Slaughter recently sold her business to concentrate on her writing career. She currently resides in Atlanta where she is working on her next novel, Indelible.

Read her Q&A session for a unique insight into her motivations for writing the story and a greater understanding of her sources of inspiration.
