Richard & Judy 2012 Autumn Reads

Atmospheric ghost story The Greatcoat by Helen Dumore (Hammer) and Robert Goddard's intriguing tale of love, loss and betrayal  Fault Line (Corgi) are among the 10 titles chosen for the Richard & Judy Autumn 2012 list.

Launched on August 30th, each title will be given individual promotion at all WH Smiths stores.

Finnegan said: "Our list of books this season is as strong as they've always been and to be able to release ten again after the success of the Summer Book Club is testimony to our authors. We hope readers are enjoying our selections as much as we have."

W H Smith has also released a free app to boost the Autumn Book Club titles this year which will allow customers to scan a Richard and Judy Book Club title by its book cover to find out more information.

Rachel Russell, WH Smith books business unit director, said: "The incredible success of the Book Club is not only down to our fantastic authors but of course to the popularity and trust in Richard and Judy. We've seen how successful the podcast has been and to be able to bring Richard and Judy back to people's screens via their new app is really exciting. We're delighted that we can continue to bring readers genuinely different and added value to their reading experience."

The other titles in the list are: Secrets of the Tides by Hannah Richell, The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey , The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz, The Guilty One by Lisa Ballantyne,  Between a Mother and Her Child by Elizabeth Noble, The Seamstress by María Dueñas,  Double Cross by Ben Macintyre, and The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani.
