Ebury Publishing is pleased to announce the launch list for its new SF and Fantasy imprint Del Rey which will begin publishing in 2013.
Michael Rowley, Editorial Director, Del Rey, has signed deals with authors Mark Hodder, Liesel Schwarz and Django Wexler. He commented, ‘I'm thrilled to be launching with such a terrific group of talented authors. Mark Hodder is, quite simply, a genius. He's already won the Philip K. Dick award for his first novel and his first book with us is phenomenal. Liesel Schwarz is a fantastic new talent and her debut is a wonderful Steampunk adventure full of action, suspense and passion which will have readers begging for more. Django Wexler's The Penitent Damned series blew me away as soon I started reading it. His epic fantasy is full of great characters in a unique setting, complete with conspiracies, politics and bloodshed galore.’
Rowley has bought UK & Commonwealth (excluding Canada) rights to four books by Philip K. Dick Award winner Mark Hodder from John Berlyne at the Zeno Literary Agency on behalf of primary agent Eddie Schneider at the JABberwocky Agency in New York. The books are also being published by Pyr, an imprint from Prometheus Books, in the USA.
