The imprint will enjoy a close day-to-day relationship with the prestigious Random House US imprint of the same name, acquiring authors jointly, where possible, and working together on coordinated and integrated marketing and publicity campaigns. Shehan Karunatilaka has won the Commonwealth Book Prize 2012 for his debut novel, Chinaman (Vintage Publishing). The prize, worth £10000, was awarded at the Hay Festival.Shehan Karunatilaka was born in Galle, Sri Lanka.
