A Life Too Short: The Tragedy of Robert Enke by Ronald Reng has won Best Football Book of the Year at the British Sports Book Awards.  The prize ceremony took place last night at the Savoy in London.

The winners of each category are now eligible for a 'best overall sports book of the year award' voted for by the public (this was won last year by Yellow Jersey's Anthony Clavane and Promised Land).   

The voting opens today at 10am and runs until 10th June with the winner announced on 11th June.  Go to www.britishsportsbookawards.co.uk to vote!
