Transworld publishers have two of the four featured titles on BBC Radio 4 Extra's new summer strand "Books at Beachtime", to be broadcast over four weeks from Monday 20th June.
Daughters-in-Law, Joanna Trollope's most recent Sunday Times No. 1 bestseller, will be read by Jane Whittenshaw, whose many screen credits include Peak Practice, Silent Witness, Eastenders, The Bill and People Like Us. It will be broadcast every afternoon from Monday 20th to Friday 24th June 14.30 - 15.00hrs
SJ Watson's much acclaimed debut novel Before I Go To Sleep, which is winning plaudits here in the UK and in the international arena, will be the second featured title from Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July. An abridged version will be read by Stella Gonet, who is best known for her role as Beatrice Eliott, in three series of the TV, The House Of Eliott and Chief Executive Officer Jayne Grayson in the medical drama Holby City. She also has appeared in Casualty, The Crow Road, Dalziel and Pascoe, Foyle's War.
To Be Sung Underwater by Tom McNeal (Little, Brown) and To the Moon and Back by Jill Mansell (Headline Review) are the two other featured titles in the Book At Beachtime series.
