Welcome to the Seventh Lindsey Davis Newsletter, issued by Century and Arrow to introduce my new
book, ‘See Delphi and Die’ and the paperback version of ‘Scandal Takes a Holiday’. To go on the
mailing List and receive copies automatically, please send your name and postal address to:

Previous Newsletters are now available on-line at http://www.randomhouse.co.uk/lindsey_davis/index.html

Inside this year you will find articles about Greece, where ‘See Delphi and Die’ is set. Gill Hart writes
about how she sees her role in selling my books; we have details of some signing events where you can
hear me talk about my work, one of which is at the Ottakar's shop where Gill works, in Lincoln.
Dedicated fans of the series may be disappointed to know that I have decided I won’t be writing a Falco
novel in 2005 – but I can reassure you this is just a much-needed rest. We already have a contract for
the eighteenth in the series, which will be published in March 2007 (see subtle hints about it in the
current book...), and I strongly anticipate that I’ll want to reach the magic target number of twenty –
at least!

Members of Reading Groups may like to know that in addition to the existing
guide for ‘Time to Depart’ which you can download from www.randomhouse.co.uk/readersgroup/, we have recently prepared a new guide for ‘The Silver Pigs’ also available through our Readers’ Group site; I know
that many groups prefer to read the first book in the series, so this should satisfy their needs.

And now read on...
