Dedicated fans of the series may be disappointed to know that
I have decided I won’t be writing a Falco
novel in 2005 – but I can reassure you this is just a much-needed
rest. We already have a contract for
the eighteenth in the series, which will be published in March
2007 (see subtle hints about it in the
current book...), and I strongly anticipate that I’ll want
to reach the magic target number of twenty –
at least!
Members of Reading Groups may like to know that in addition to
the existing
guide for ‘Time
to Depart’ which you can download from www.randomhouse.co.uk/readersgroup/,
we have recently prepared a new guide for ‘The
Silver Pigs’ also available through our Readers’
Group site; I know
that many groups prefer to read the first book in the series,
so this should satisfy their needs.
