About the book

Synopsis

Join the Ripley's Bureau of Investigation - a group of teen agents with special gifts - as they embark on a series of action-packed adventures, travelling the world in pursuit of extraordinary events and tales. These wonderful new stories are perfect for adventurously minded children between the ages of 7 and 11.

In The Lost Island, the RBI travel to the plains of East Africa to investigate strange sightings of unbelievable animals, and find local people terrified of the unnatural animal cries they hear in the night.

With DUL agents hot on their trail, the RBI find themselves on one of their most scary and dangerous missions so far as the adventure leads them to the mysterious lost island.

About the Author

Robert LeRoy Ripley was an American cartoonist, who created and developed the world-famous Ripley's Believe It or Not! cartoon strip in the years after the First World War. He travelled the globe in search of unusual objects and stories, and built up an extraordinary collection of everything from shrunken heads to dinosaur eggs and iron maidens. These are now exhibited in Ripley museums around the world, including one in London's Piccadilly Circus. The Ripley's Believe It or Not! annual has become an international best-seller.
