Synopsis

No nation has made a greater contribution to the Lions than Wales. During almost half a century since the end of the Second World War they have truly provided the Lions' share not just of members of the supporting cast but of captains, coaches and managers. They have also provided some of the greatest players in the history of the game, as well as the most endearing. No one more so than Harry Bowcott, the oldest surviving Lion of all, who recalls in Lions of Wales what it was like to tour New Zealand almost 70 years ago.
