About the book

Synopsis

Afraid to prune? Cut back too much? Reeds in the lawn? Bamboo in the pond? Eyesore to hide? Bulbs disappearing?

Whether you have a neglected plot or a high-rise balcony, you're a seasoned grower or an absolute beginner, Lia Leendertz's engaging answers to readers' questions will help and inspire you. For the first time she collects her Guardian columns into an indispensable book that will help you to have a productive, healthy and beautiful garden.
From ridding yourself of Spanish bluebells and sourcing climbers which cover your neighbours' unsightly fence, to encouraging bees and the right kind of bugs and deterring unwanted pests and diseases; week by week and season by season, Gardening SOS answers every gardening question you can think of, and quite a few more besides.
