About the book

Synopsis

Miss Golighty is no young Holly, and the supermarket café where she regularly has breakfast is no Tiffany's. When she befriends Cheryl, the tarty young waitress and teaches her to love old films, she finds a way to help her young friend find the courage to seek a better new life.

Part of the Storycuts series, this short story was previously published in the collection Jigs & Reels.
