About the book

Synopsis

What's your name? Is it Chloe? Jessica? Jack, Sam? Is it Emily? Rebecca? Matthew, Dan?

...Or is it Fart Bear?

Noah Zark?

Piggy Banks?

Be grateful for your ordinary name - this funny, fascinating book is full of the silliest, the strangest, the weirdest and the wackiest names from around the world (and some of them are quite rude too)!

What the critics say

...a fascinating look into the origins of the wacky and weird...
- The Irish Examiner

Although aimed at children aged nine plus, I'm sure many adults would find this volume entertaining too, and let it serve as a warning that if you are toying with giving your child a unusual name, it may be included in a future volume of a book similar to this for future generations to ponder (and possibly, have a giggle at).
- South Wales Argus
