On June 20th, 1887, Hetty Feather and the other children from the Foundling Hospital were allowed out to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in Jacqueline’s incredible book Hetty Feather. This year we will be celebrating our Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and things haven’t changed that much since 1887, we will still be putting up bunting and holding street parties!
