Deborah was born in London and grew up in Ilford. After studying English at Liverpool University, Deborah went on to do a Design degree at Camberwell School of Art. She now works in publishing full time and lives in South London. How to Speak Moo! was published in September 2003 and Baa for Beginners, Deborah's second book for Hutchinson, was published in February 2005.
