Random House Books was established in 2006 and publishes an original and innovative non-fiction portfolio spanning business, big ideas, history and soft reference, as well as some more light-hearted titles.

Current authors include Chris Anderson (The Long Tail), Jim Collins (Good to Great), Simon Heffer (Strictly English), Dan Cruickshank (The Secret History of Georgian London), Clarissa Dickson Wright (A History of English Food) and Mark Kermode (It’s Only a Movie). The list also includes the Ripley’s Believe It or Not annual.

In 2009, Random House Books joined forces with the book publishing arm of the Guardian newspaper, Guardian Books, to publish and distribute their titles, which range from the bestselling A World without Bees and WikiLeaks to Wild Swim.
